Rodgers retires

Greg Raschke and Shirley Rodgers

Shirley Rodgers retired at the end of August after nearly 22 years of service in the IT Department. She served as the lead programmer and technical support for the Inside Wood and Metcalf databases. When the Hunt Library opened, she quickly learned new skills and put forth enormous effort to make the impressive video walls and high-tech spaces usable and sustainable.

Shirley was also an active member of the Community Service Committee, as well as numerous other project teams. She is tenacious when faced with challenging technical problems and has an unparalleled ability to think creatively about solutions. Please join us in congratulating Shirley on her successful career and thanking her for her exceptional work for the Libraries!
